  Racial Harmony Awards

Although the Founders have been at this for over 25 years; it wasn't until Ruth heard and read interviews with former First Lady Barbara Bush that caused her to come to the place to  change the logo to say the words "We're Colorblind" using the graphics with the sunglasses.

Ruth was elated when she sent Mrs Bush a copy of their first book and she recieved a personally signed letter from her. That spearheaded the work that was done by our Chief National Director, Rita Frazier in designing our logo. Our logo has received a lot of attention and acceptance. It makes people think and that's where the idea came to honor those who publicly put their lives on the line to promote racial harmony, equality and respect for all who deserve it. We do talk alot, but we put force behind it. We need generous contributors to make the Racialy Harmony Hall of Fame Building and The American Spirit Youth Summit and Conference a reality.
